Rio Grande LNG in Brownsville expects about 7,500 construction workers at peak, and had more than 6,000 on site in August 2026 (Texas Border Business). More than 70% are from the Valley, but the remaining traveling crafts and supervisors still need beds. In the Golden Triangle, Port Arthur LNG and Golden Pass overlap with refinery turnarounds.
